Create-athon 2023
Cameraman
The Create-athon 2.0 was the second event hosted from Carleton University's Media Production and Design program. The Create-athon 2.0 was a one-day in-person event in March 2023. Students from all years of the Media Production & Design program worked collaboratively in groups with a professional mentor to create a digital project or proposal addressing the prompt "My So-called Digital Life."
2022-2023
Kumamoto, Japan
Study Exchange
Hosted English tutoring events with Japanese and English speakers as a assistant in the English department.
Directed a short film about a Japanese’s perspective on a exchange
student's view and life abroad in Kumamoto Japan which achieved second place in Kumamoto University’s consortium. Conversed with different Japanese students speaking their desired language of choice in a program called “Foreigner's Café” to promote
language exchange.
2020-2021
Carleton's ICUREUS
Research Assistant
Prepared thirty different documents analyzing game based Japanese learning designs and development.
Analyzed ten different Japanese Kanji learning applications describing the app’s purpose, effectiveness, and the
developer behind the app.
Collaborated with Professor McArthur in studying HCI development to create an augmented reality application facilitating Japanese learning.

Engineered an idea for an app allowing students to work together without
any distractions by using a phone to study with a partner and void out distractions & notifications.
Wireframe the application using InVision and achieved second place achieving $2,500
with teammates.

Analyzed real estate trends for research in the housing market, developed content, and implemented new marketing strategies and campaigns for the company's
startup preparation. Roofheads is
